Dr. Amiel Moshfegh is a fellowship-trained vascular and interventional radiologist and the president of Southern California Vascular Institute. A Southern California native, Dr. Moshfegh emphasizes honest evaluation, clear explanations, and minimally invasive treatment when appropriate for each patient's condition. He serves patients across the greater Los Angeles area, with offices in Los Angeles, Huntington Park, and Bakersfield.
Dr. Moshfegh focuses on image-guided, minimally invasive procedures designed to target specific vascular and related conditions while limiting disruption to surrounding tissue when possible. Many of these procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis.

Education and Training
A Southern California native, Dr. Moshfegh graduated with honors from UC Berkeley, earning a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology. He went on to receive his medical degree from New York Medical College, followed by an internship and radiology residency at the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center where he completed a mini-fellowship in interventional radiology and was recognized as a scholar of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
His training culminated with an extensive fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Cornell-NY Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where he refined his expertise in cutting-edge vascular procedures.

Dr. Moshfegh specializes in comprehensive vein care, including endovenous ablation to treat painful, swollen, and unsightly varicose veins. His expertise extends to vascular disease management, complex arterial interventions for peripheral arterial disease, and percutaneous aortic aneurysm repair.
He is also highly skilled in uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), having trained with one of the top specialists in the New York Tristate area. As a scholar of the American College of Phlebology and the American Venous Forum, Dr. Moshfegh remains at the forefront of vascular innovation, ensuring his patients receive the most advanced, minimally invasive treatments available.

Dr. Le earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he graduated summa cum laude. He then pursued his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine as a Dean’s Scholar.
