Dr. Amiel Moshfegh is a highly respected vascular and interventional radiologist who serves the Greater Los Angeles area. As the president of Southern California Vascular Institute, he is dedicated to providing advanced, minimally invasive vascular treatments that improve both health and quality of life. Throughout his career, Dr. Moshfegh has held leadership roles as director of endovascular intervention at Beverly Hills Vascular Center, VAC of South LA, and Marina Del Rey Hospital.
Known for his expertise in comprehensive vein care and complex vascular procedures, he utilizes the latest techniques and intravascular ultrasound technology to ensure precise diagnostics and effective treatments.

Education and Training
A Southern California native, Dr. Moshfegh graduated with honors from UC Berkeley, earning a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology. He went on to receive his medical degree from New York Medical College, followed by an internship and radiology residency at the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center where he completed a mini-fellowship in interventional radiology and was recognized as a scholar of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
His training culminated with an extensive fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Cornell-NY Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center where he refined his expertise in cutting-edge vascular procedures.

He is also highly skilled in uterine fibroid embolization (UFE), having trained with one of the top specialists in the New York Tristate area.
